Higher cost to attend......more watered down content.....in all fairnesss some decent acts in the mix

KJ Denhert is a great performer and writes nice songs in the pop/jazz vein.
Ray Levier is her drummer.

We played the hell out of Ray's most recent CD, "Ray's Way" which is on Origin label, if I remember correctly.

For the first time ever KSJS will not be directly involved in stage announcing and other various chores as in each of the previous SJ Jazz Fests.

Some not to be missed stuff, though: Sharon Jones, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Bettye Lavette, Bill Henderson.

Hope Buster Williams is well enough to travel and get back to action by then.

Spanish Harlem was here maybe 4[?] years ago were dynamite.

agreed, with the addition of Bennie Maupin's group. sorry to say but doubt that Buster will be there. i would think he needs more recovery time.
