RIP Warriors

Just found out about Arturo 'Thunder' Gatti being murdered in Brazil.

Recently, Alexis Arguello was also killed.

While Gatti always did the right thing as far as his public persona, Arguello was truly known as a gentleman champion, a throwback to the days when pride, class, and responsibility were accepted as a given when you were the Champ.

Either way, they both fought in some of the most historic battles in Boxing, RIP Champions!

Wow!
I had heard that Arguello died in passing recently, but did not know he was murdered. Had also heard a while ago that his out of ring life after retiring was further complicated with drug problems.

Saw a replay of the Arguello/Pryor fights recenetly; those were amazing tilts!
