If you're serious, Jeff, and I don't think you are, may I be the first to cast a pox on you and on any household pets, ferrets, rats, budgies dogs etc. that you may have.

Most dogs do not need to be bathed that often. And this time of year my dog's bath consists of being chucked in the pool.
Boston Terriers don't bark much either. I was just at the beach with a couple we just met and after 3 days they asked us whether our dog ever barks. So I got a treat and asked her to speak to prove she knows how.

I don't own a pool and the beach is two hours drive away from my house.
Dogs still leave "lawn orniments" indiscriminately.
I vote cats.

i love cats...for lunch!!! i like other peoples cats but i wouldn't own one. they have no loyalty. everyone, i repeat everyone who has cats has a smelly house. you never hear about seeing eye cats or rescue cats, or drug sniffing cats. DOGS ROCK!!

My neighbor has 4 of them and one is cool. I figure they lucked out with that ratio.

That is obviously because no blind people like to think that their seeing eye cat might take them up on top of the kitchen cupboards, under furniture, or onto the top of an open door.

The local Hmong, Laotian and Vietnamese face the same bigotry.
Mostly, though, the Mexican-Americans get the worst of it; "Chihuahua on a stick" references regarding the local taco trucks in the area is a favorite put-down.
