Frank McCourt, RIP

The Irish/American NYC English teacher who wrote Angela's Ashes died today after a battle with cancer. He was 78.

My favorite book of his was, as you might expect, Teacher Man.

I loved A.A., couldn't put it down. Got an autographed copy at book signing. It was the only time I ever bothered to buy a book I had already read just to shake hands with the author.
