Live Jazz at Gallaghers Steak House
LIVE JAZZ ON THE MENU AT GALLAGHER’S STEAK HOUSE EVERY THURSDAY,
FRIDAY AND SATURDAY NIGHTS (BEGINS THURSDAY, AUGUST 13); GRADUATES OF
EMPIRE STATE YOUTH ORCHESTRA TO PERFORM
New York, August 7—Gallagher’s Steak House, the New York City
theater-district institution since 1927, has a new menu item: LIVE
JAZZ featuring performances by graduates of the Empire State Youth
Orchestra every Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights beginning
Thursday, August 13, 2009.
A jazz quartet comprised of ESYO-schooled musicians will provide the
musical entertainment from 9:00 p.m. to midnight every Thursday,
Friday and Saturday evening at Gallagher’s, located at 228 West 52nd
Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue. Reservations are
recommended by calling 212.245.5336. Pre-performance reservations will
be taken for 8:00 and 8:30 p.m., so that diners can place their orders
prior to the start of the entertainment, while later seatings through
11:30 p.m. will also be accepted. There is a two-drink minimum
required for those not dining.

Empire State Youth Orchestra, Inc. (ESYO) is an umbrella organization
consisting of 9 performing ensembles for highly talented youth in the
greater Capital Region of New York. The ensembles present over 30
public concerts - many free - each season. ESYO also has an instrument
training program for inner-city students in Albany, Schenectady, and
