Jazz in Long Island NY? (Suffolk County)

Hi everyone. Looks like there are a lot of musicians here so maybe you guys (and girls) will know. I am a very big fan of jazz trio's and old jazz music like Stan Getz, Billie Holiday, Ella, Oscar Peterson and the like. I am looking for a real and true honest jazz venue to go to in my area, which is Suffolk County, Long Island NY. Got 2 little ones so unfortunately I really can't travel to the city. If anyone, and I know this is a long shot, used to play or live in Phoenix there was a little hole in the wall club there called Timothy's that was awesome, I'm looking for something similar to that. There was a female jazz singer that played there regularly that I really loved, I wish I could still remember her name but it's been years.

The only place I can find here is a restaurant in port jefferson that shoves the acts into a little space next to the maitre d stand - seen some good music there but it's not exactly a jazz lover's venue.
