Long Song Records, anybody know this label?

Ben Goldberg's "Plays Monk" Trio caught my eye after I missed their gig up in L.A. ... and I see Tenor giant Daniele Cavallanti over there, and even Nels Cline has found his way into a few projects. Anybody?

I hadn't but found their website. It looks like you can find their records at CD Baby, Jazz Loft, Indie Jazz and Amazon. Thanks for the heads up, I saw Plays Monk listed as one of the artists playing at the Angel City Jazz Festival and just assumed that they probably didn't have any CDs out yet.

The Acoustic Guitar Trio record is fantastic. Thanks for the tip re. the Goldberg, which I also didn't know had been released yet.

Sorry for the late response. Daniele Cavallanti Electric Unit - Smoke Inside

is the one to get! Features the aforementioned Nels Cline.

Also would recommend (on Long Song) Simone Massaron - Breaking News also features Cavallanti,

as well as Elliott Sharp.

I found the mail order service from Milano very dependable.
