Wellington, Australia Jazz Fest

Welcome back to the Wellington International Jazz Festival.

Now in our seventh year, we are proud to be presenting one of the most varied and exciting music festivals available in New Zealand. The Wellington International Jazz Festival is one of the few festivals in the country that caters to such a wide variety of aural tastes.

Over 17 days and nights, artists from Aotearoa, Europe, the USA and Australasia will perform music from the traditional to the avant-garde, demonstrating the talent and skill that underlies this festival.

The home of this year's festival will again be the Jazz Club, with its well stocked bar. Now located on Cuba Street, the Jazz Club will host all of our headline acts, as well as a full late night series.

Alongside the Jazz Club programme we are proud to present a full season of music at Happy, Wellington's newest venue for adventurous listeners. The brainchild of our own artistic director, Happy will set standards for intelligent music in Aotearoa.

Outlined here are just a few of the highlights of this year's Festival. Even this small taste gives you an idea of the range and breadth of the Festival. So welcome again to the Seventh Wellington International Jazz Festival, we hope you take time to enjoy as much of the fine music presented as you can.
