New money for the Phantom Treasure hunt?

In yesterday's NYT there was an article that Bush's budget demands for the war costs include $600 millions for finding the WMD's apparently this is in the non-itemised section of the budget demand.

My take on this is that the phantom has alredy cost us enough and if they find them accidneteally, that's ok with me. But through good money after bad? What's's your take?

Well, what I really meant was that I would be willing to give him $600 total contribuition from all taxpayers. Assuming there are 100 million taxpayers, my per capita "contribution" (love that Clintonism) would be $.000006. What's your address?

It shouldn't cost $600 million to pull a couple of small nukes and a few barrels of chemicals out of storage, ship them to Iraq, hide them and then "find" them?

Planting it is the only way they're ever going to find anything there.
