mclaughlin montreux box set

i have read on several websites as of late of an upcoming john mclaughlin at montreux boxset.
it will be in the tradition of the miles boxset from last year. i'm very excited. mclaughlin is overseeing the project to make sure it is of maximum quality. 20 discs from 74-03. only thing is is that i have yet to see a street date for it. anyone hear anything on the street date?!!

This is a much more interesting prospect than the Miles box, since McLaughlin had so many different projects over those years.

Interesting project, but they should make available some of the concerts seperately. Only die-hard fans will buy a 20CD box.

yes it will be released on warner. i have been told that it will be available in europe only on nov.17th, with no american release date in sight yet. it will also have a concert with the truth band featuring sunship theus on drums. most of my info comes from a recent interview with mclaughlin on allaboutjazz.com, and an email response from its author.

recently heard february street date in USA.
