Ask Joel Frahm
Hi Joel,
Have heard [and not yet seen] that you made an appearance back at JC.
A thread was started at 'speakout' putting out the welcome mat, thought that I'd go a step further.
If you take the terrific examples of Robin, Dennis and Ellery, they've created a civil place to talk music and other life events; places of sharing, no back biting BS and arguing allowed. Almost like they have thier own little 'cottage' a cool place to visit.
Go for it if you have the time and the will.

Hey Mike,
Thanks for starting this forum, and great to hear from you again. Good to see Jimmy and Phil here too! I'll admit, I was still lurking here occasionally, and when I saw people were interested in the new CD, I figured I should pop my head up.
The new record will be out in stores on Jan 13th, which is also the starting date of three nights of the duo at the Jazz Standard. I'm really excited about this engagement, and also very anxious to see what the reaction is to the CD. It really was, for me, the fulfillment of a project I had thought about for a long time. Can't wait for you guys to hear it.
Best wishes always,
Joel
