ONE FINAL NOTE TO RESUME PUBLICATION ON DECEMBER 1, 2003
On December 1, 2003, the internationally acclaimed jazz & improvised music
webzine ONE FINAL NOTE will rise from the virtual ashes after a year-long
hiatus. From December 1999 to November 2002, OFN was published quarterly
as an online journal, building a worldwide audience with its insightful
writing and emphasis on independent production. The new & improved OFN
will take greater advantage of the web's flexibility by maintaining an
increased production schedule -- new features monthly & new CD reviews
*every weekday* -- while also offering full access to three years' worth of
archival material. OFN will also increase its community-building abilities
under the new design & concept by offering reasonably priced advertisement
space to relevant cyber-sponsors.
Some of the artists OFN will cover in December 2003 include: Jimmy Lyons,
Fred Anderson, Dominic Duval, Miles Davis, Active Ingredients, Erik
Friedlander, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Dave Holland, Sun Ra, Steve Swallow,
and many more.
