Frank Gratkowski Quartet - Spectral Reflections

Last eveneing besides a LOFT concert I bought this new Quartet recording:
Frank Gratkowski Quartet 'Special Reflections' Leo CD LR374 (2003).
Frank alto,clarinet, contrabass clarinet
Wolter Wierbos trombone
Dieter Manderscheid bass
Gerry Hemingway drums
1. Blonk - 4:45
2. Homage - 13:35
3. Loom - 9:49
4. Fenster - 6:50
5. Annäherungen 3 - 6:50
6. Spectral Reflections -13:49

This is a highlight of his and their work, I am in enthusiastic mood after hearing this what I call free improvised music.
The titles like a bunch of flowers, direct taken from nature, strong colours of fresh green yellow blue.
And it's teamwork from it's finest, produced in relaxed manner, no pressure, tones come out like from theirselves.
And You will hear lyrics and strong tones, nothing is eaqual all is unique .
I highly recommend to buy this , I dont shy to say 'It's a Must have' for instance for a certain STEVE

Do Blonk, Loom and Fenster mean Green, Yellow and Blue? Sounds like the Addams Family to me! Haw haw.

Looks like the same lineup that was on Kollaps, which I quite enjoyed. This "goes on the list". Thanks, Hermann.
