Merry Christmas

If I have offended anyone's sensibilities in 2003, please accept my apologies. I do not practice any religion, but I did grow up with Christmas (in a non-churchy way) and I rather like the fact that we can make an annual stop to think things over and at least make a determination to become a better person. We will undoubtedly continue to disagree as well as agree, and our pixel confrontations may grow as uncomfortable as they occasionally have in the past, but we should all remember that pixels, no matter how we arrange them, are just that.

Merry Christmas, Chris.

And Merry Christmas to everyone else at JC. I am happy to have discovered this happy and contentious enclave of jazz enthusiasts on the Net.

Hi Chris,

And best wishes to you as well! Christmas is still here on the West Coast, but it's history now where you are. What some folks call "the Christmas spirit" should be with us all, every day, don't you think?

It's always a pleasure reading your posts. There aren't too many of us here who have experienced the amount of jazz history first hand that you have, and it's always enlightening to read your perspectives. Thank you.

Chris, your message is lovely and it should be looked at, read and re-read throughout the year

I tried to send the following message to all of you individually, but if you didn't get it:

May the coming year bring you all that you need and be filled with peace, love, music and magic (and maybe even 12 drummers drumming)!
