Cage/Tilbury on BBC Radio 3

The BBC Symphony Orchestra are holding a weekend-long Cagefest this weekend - first show at 19.30 GMT tonight includes 4'33" for full orchestra, which was ridiculed on breakfast television this morning. BBC Radio 3 are doing a live stream.

Yep, there's a gorgeous recording of the Sonatas and Interludes done for Japanese London in 1974 that Jon was nice enough to bring back for me from Japan last year. Great disc.

Guess whose MP3 recorder f***ed up last night? Mine. That'll teach me to trust technology.

Heard the last bit. After thanking you for the reminder, I got diverted for an hour and forgot again. The Radio 3 stream ain't bad I'll say that, only heard ten minutes of the music. I have a stream recorder on my PC, ought to check it out, then I won't have to mess around with timing.
