Favorite Lovemaking Albums

I can just imagine some of the humorous twists and turns this thread might take, but seriously: do you find yourself reaching for the same CD/lp/78s when it's date night at home?

We've got a few that we keep in heavy rotation:

Michael Brecker--The Nearness of You. This is probably our current favorite, lots of open space and rich harmonies;

Two Putamayo compilations: Brazilia and Romantica. Funky and sexy;

Path--an erotic-sounding Windham Hill compilation of ambient music. This really is a subtle but spectacular sonic journey. The tracks all blend into one another and the transitions take so long that you stop "listening" and just let it wash over you. Very trippy;

Joao Gilberto--the new one with just his voice and guitar. Sometimes it's a little creepy to have such an intimate sounding recording, as if he's in the room watching!;

Miles--a ballads compilation called Love Songs.

Making Music--Zakir Hussain with John McGlaughlin.

The Melody Alone at Night, With You--Keith Jarrett.

Liz Story--The Unaccountable Story. Again, a lovely ambient journey. We haven't listened to this in a while, but that's because we got into it so much that we burned ourselves out!

We don't listen to anything with much of a strong beat, I've noticed. I'd like to venture into some music of my past--say, blasting the first Santana album--but GLenda's tastes run a little softer than mine.

And what about you?

Brian O., veryy funny you mentioned Machine Gun, since Thomas Chapin's Insomnia tops my list. I'm still not sure why.

Here are some others:

Anything by Otis Redding

Songs of Leonard Cohen (his debut album)

Coltrane - Crescent

a couple of albums from this Latin thing called Huayculta (sic)

Yeah, her excellent worm pill post on the parenting thread disappeared also. I suspect foul play!

That, or a drastic attack of self-censorship.

Question

But it doesn't make sense. Tippy's posts weren't offensive in any way. They were hysterical, especially since she had "before" "during" and "after". TIP, did you remove it?? What happened?

I don't wanna be rude or anything, it would seem to me that only a freaky needledick could make love to an lp. A 45, on the other hand, is relatively biologically correct for looooove.
