Tang!(r)

I was at the supermarket today and whilst looking for some west indian lime cordial (great for a hot day) I came across Tang. I hadn't seen Tang since the late 60's and felt vaguely nostalgic - after all this was 'space program food' (it wasn't but what they hey) - so I bought some and took it home - made it up ....and heck ...it still tastes like crap but it took me back.

So if we venerate retsin ...well we should extend the same to TANG ....tomorrows drink yesterday!

Wait, shouldn't it be "Yesterday's Drink of Tomorrow: Today!" ?

In case you wondered, here is where Tang research takes place:

Tang is the best! No other taste like it; so smooth, so unnatural.

What the heck ever happened to Space Food Sticks? Yucky yum.

Back when I was a teen, Tang was the perfect backpacking drink mix because it is easy to pack and quite light weight.

Now days there are a bah-zillion other choices for dehydrated drink mix.
