Aww, I was a big fan of Elroy in my yout'. Those old Rams teams were a lot more exciting than anything around today and Crazy Legs was a phenomonal runner.
I only vaguely remember him from the Rams. But I remember seeing reruns of "Unchained," starring Crazy Legs, the prison movie that gave us "Unchained Melody."
