cracking DVD regions

Here's the deal:

I've got a new Toshiba Satellite a45-s250 notebook with a DVD+-RW drive.

After four instances of switching between DVD regions, this drive is going to lock on one region. Says so in the operating instructions.

Is there any way around this? Better yet, is there a way around this that does not involve flashing my drive (I really fear I'd fuck that up).

You should find those cracks on Kazaa.
I didn't look lately though.

Alex, I'm not familiar with that notebook, but I found a forum that says this about Toshiba Satellites:

"the toshiba dvd player is not region coded, the software, dvdexpress is. What you need to do is to deinstall dvdexpress as i no of no region crack for it and install powerdvd or another soft where the crack is easily available. then download dvd genie which will allow you to change regions at will."

Hope that helps.
