Where's the horizontal slider (IE & Netscape)?

Is this happening to anyone else:

On JC pages that go beyond the width of a screen, due to wide image postings, I'm not getting the slider at the bottom of the page to move left-right. I usually use IE, but I just tried Netscape, and I have the same problem. I can navigate horizontally using the cursor keys.

Pete, I opened JC on all five of my browsers (IE, Netscape, Mozilla, Opera, Firefox) and there's a slider on all of them. Since you're having a problem on two browsers, maybe your display isn't what it should be?
