Whatever happenned to Erik Lund?

I'm not sure why he stopped posting and I haven't talked to him in many months, but I'll be in Portland in a few weeks. Last I heard he had just returned from China, and was hoping to go back. Has anyone heard from him?

I actually talked to him on the phone yesterday and he sed he is doing well and giging quite a lot around Portland. He still does not have a computer and his e-mail account has lapsed. Don't know how to tell you to get in contact with him other than checking Portland schedules.

Once every couple of months I get a message on my home phone from Johannie. He's generally calling from a record store and want to know if I think he should buy this or that CD. He'll leave a long, gonzo message -- but never, ever a number to call back.

Mr. Lund was on the wait-staff at Yosaki when I played there about a month ago.

My impression has always been that it was true at one point and subsequently ceased to be true.

I'm more suspicious about the whole China business, frankly.

I am mnytime's relative and I'll have you know that he is unable to type because he lost his fingers in a petting zoo accident and if that is your idea of a joke, it's not very funny and if that is the kind of people that you are then I don't think I'm going to bother coming on this board anymore and this will be the last time that you hear from me probably.

How can one ask about the whereabouts of Mr. Lund without quoting from "Where is the Love?"

JOL, Yes indeed. It's a long and alternately hilarious and pitiful story.
