CBJC's 5th Annual Jazz Festival
Great Things Are Happening In Brooklyn!

The CBJC is now hosting its 5th fabulous Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival throughout April at a number of Brooklyn venues. The April Jazz Fest kicks off this year with a Gala at the Sugar Hill Supper Club, 615 DeKalb Avenue (corner of Nostrand Ave). This year's event features the great saxophonist Gary Bartz and Gina Fletcher. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

Each year, CBJC honors musicians who have contributed to the advancement of the music, locally, nationally and internationally. Among the honorees at this year's Gala are: Kenny Dorham; Clifton Smalls; Robert Glasper; Mari Toussaint; and, Tony's Grand Dean, this year's designated Jazz Shrine.
