Warne Marsh - Ne Plus Ultra to be reissued!

Hat Hut's Werner Uehlinger just told me he hopes to reissue Warne Marsh's Ne Plus Ultra on his hatOLOGY label early 2005. It's already been remastered and he's waiting for new liner notes.

(I realize I probably should have posted this on April 2... It's no joke!)

That's great news. I have the LP and a CDR of the CD reissue (by the time I became a fan of Marsh the CD was long OOP). I have been trying to locate the CD for over a year now. There is even an ebay auction right now that I am watching, but I suspect the price will exceed my budget. I will be looking forward to the reissue and wish it were not so far away.

I wonder what other stuff is floating around that needs to be issued?? (I bet Peter Ind has some cool stuff!)

Let's hope they reissue it sometime soon. They have some other cd's on and off the pending list for a few years now.
