Living Legends Jazz Competition offers 1000 Cd recording session
The Living Legends Jazz Competition is seeking jazz musicians to compete in the open category of a jazz festival in Provo, UT - for the extraordinary prize of a 1000 CD recording session at Origin Records in Seattle. The focus of the competition is the personal interaction between the student and the guest atrist with the highlight being the on-site "jazz club" where participants will have the opportunity to play side-byside with world class musicians.
The winners of the Utah's Living Legends Jazz Competition, May 21st and 22nd will also have an opportunity to perform with the Lewis Nash Quintet.
