The Swan?

I had never heard of this show until it came on the tube last night. I switched it over to a hockey game as soon as I saw that it was another reality show, appears that it was much more sinister than I had thought.

Hideous stuff.

We are one step closer to throwing people to the lions for entertainment.

Yeah, the commercials for this one gave me the creeps. Imagine, making "ugly" women "beautiful" enough to compete in beauty pageants. Ugh and double ugh.

Caught the tail end of this--it looked to me as if these two rather ordinary soccer-mom types were turned into rather ordinary floozie types.

I remember coming across "Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire" when it was on, and thinking it had to be a parody.

I don't think I've seen a single whole episode of these newfangled exploitative reality shows. And that's not because I consider myself above such garbage entertainment (because I'm not - really), but because whenever I tried to watch I found them pretty boring and I just couldn't get into them.

I usually manage to accomplish the same thing in the course of a weekend, albeit through much different behavior.

Unable to resist this joke,
