THANK YOU EVERYONE!
I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of you for your support. I remember our first days up around 96-97 with about 300 people registered. And then suddenly when JCS went down and you all migrated over here (what was that 99?) and I scurried with Steve from emaze to update the board and customize as much as we could. And then when we updated again last year in March and moved over to the jazzcorner server and getting the archives converted to be readable on this board. Some of you new members should take a look - you'll get a kick out of them.
Now thanks to Moné, the newest look to Speakeasy, and this is just the beginning!
I ask that all of you who love this music to also support and visit the more than 170 sites on JC. Buy the CDs directly from the artists (as Mark Kleinhaut said in the thread "to burn or buy", the artists get the money directly as well as a donation from each order goes to the Jazz Foundation of America's Jazz Musicians Emergency Fund). They truly make this board financially possible and your support makes this board the busiest on the internet for jazz and as far as I'm concerned the Best.
