David S. Ware
As a parallel to the Shipp thread, I'll kick this one off by mentioning that Ware has a website now:

I'm not sure whether I have a "speed connection" or not but it always feels good to be kindly greeted by being "welcome on the official website".
There is a thorough biography, though.

It would be at about this point Conan Nado would say: "David ASS Ware?"
Uh, just reminiscing...

Just saw Wm. Parker and Hamid Drake last night on a bill with Sam Rivers/Reggie Workman/Jason Moran. Quite a show.

3 years on ...
Listening to some David S. tonight - astounding stuff.
"Corridors & Parallels" and "Freedom Suite" are both about as intense as it gets. I need to get more. Anyone have any thoughts on "Wisdom of Uncertainty"?

I'd be happy, Gonzo, but I was only listening to albums.

Wisdom of Uncertainty is absolutely fabulous, if you are thinking of picking it up, stop thinking and go do it! Everyone is in fine form, plus Susie Ibarra is always great to hear with Ware, Parker and Shipp (also, Godspellized is great too, same line up, I like that one even more than WoU, I think. Or maybe not-tough call...=).

Ah. Good point, Ron.
Well, that was 3 years ago. I couldn't possibly remember enough to write a review at this point, anyway.
