Burton Greene
Hm. Just got the Drimala solo disc. So how good's Burton Greene? Jury's out so far on this one, though I like it a lot more than the one time I saw him solo, in Toronto in the mid-1990s......then, he just seemed rusty & off in his own little world...... I don't know the guy's music, haven't even heard the ESP. His chops are in OK shape here, but I still find it a little hard to connect with: "idiosyncratic" but an hour of idiosyncracy is more than I need, perhaps. Still, not bad.
