Another great E-Bay sale

And someone actually paid for it.

Hey, you tell me where you can get a good air guitar for less than $9.25.

While I've never competed (I just don't think that art should be judged that way), I'm a pretty fair air guitarist myself. My signature tune is "Hocus Pocus" by Focus.

Actually, I'm kind of concerned about that auction, because I'm willing to bet that the buyer is expecting to receive the empty guitar case, and the description seems to suggest that all he's getting is an empty envelope. I predict negative feedback (speaking of which, I'm a master at air-guitar feedback and sustain, you should hear my Santana medley).

A friend of mine once tried to sell Manny Ramirez's brain on E-bay. If I recall, the description went "Like New! Hardly Ever Used!" I don't think anyone bid on it, though.

That eBay item was obviously worthless. It didn't even come with an air amp!

To be fair, he did write clearly at the bottom that the case wasn't included... I don't think there's much the bidder can say.

My signature tune? - the hellacious solo on Rush's "Spirit of Radio", right after the part where Geddy Lee sings "echoes....with the sounds.... of salesmen.... of salesmen... oooooooof SALEsmen!"
