Roy Haynes drums...

anyone know what kind of drums and heads Roy Haynes used? probably not, but i gotta ask.

Not only did you post in the wrong place, Haynes is very much among us.

I hate to help out here, but this would be easy to find out at a Roy Haynes website...

No problemo, rightguy41:

Roy plays a Slingerland kit w/Remo heads. Before permormance, he treats his heads by rubbing them with large, molded clumps of spam. I asked him once how he got that snap crackle and he divulged his secret!

Actually, I'd like to know where he got that cool cowboy hat he wears.
