miles 2004

had this dream last night that miles was still alive and i went to see him. the weird thing was that it was at the old Fillmore in S.F. the band was
incredible mixing 70s era miles with an edge that was missing from his late 80s-90s stuff. psychedelic/ funk/hip hop/jazz produced by bill laswell.

one of my good buddies, dave, is bucks drummer. over 200 drummers from all over the country tried out for the gig. you can see merle on most fridays at his crystal palace showroom. people come from all over the world to see buck on fridays. have never seen merle.
