Prior to coming out here from NY, I could take or leave the Yellowjackets, based on what I had heard from the earlier stuff. One of my now best friends since moving out here is among the most rabid "Jacket" fans and have learned much about them through Rick, and have enjoyed the several shows I've seen more than I 'thought'I would going in.

The band now, since the addition of Bob Mintzer [10 years or so] is a pretty damn good band, and a very nice group of men.
Have met them all in some way or another, a band with lot's of South Bay and Santa Cruz area history, a really good name band fit for SJ Fest.

I booked a room but I'm not sure I'll go yet. Hotel rates are a steal down there. Did it work out for Dennis G. to come?
