Infantile works for me.
Ugh, I hate every corporate cliche in existence. "Interface" is especially disgusting.
"Brainstorm" is another one I loathe (in the corporate sense) as in "brainstorming session". Sometimes I have to catch myself when I let one slip, such as "no brainer". I think I enjoyed using it as a sort of veiled insult, as in "wow, your idea is a no brainer!"

metrosexual
I don't even know what this word means or why it was invented. All I know is that I am very mistrusting of metrosexuals especially since I don't know how to identify one or even know what they like but it sounds to me like something I should clearly avoid.

I think mandatory military service &/or some sort of grunt labour should be in effect just for these idiots. Have you seen American Psycho? A million laughs...

That made me retch!
I'd heard the term "metrosexual" a few times (read it, to be more accurate), but I didn't wish to know what the fuck it meant. I knew it had to be something particularly odious...and now I see I was correct.

Growing up I used to refer to these types as "dandy douchebags".

I think it's the word I object to more than the idea itself. Really doesn't anyone who goes to the gym regularly and is keeping up with the Jones in techno-gadgetry and other material items share qualities with the metrosexual? Although I think metrosexual is talking more about like straight guys who are into fashion which is insulting to both gay guys and straight guys who are into fashion...who lets face it are really gay...
I'M JUST KIDDING! Let me try again, I think it is insulting to gay guys and to guys who do typically spend more time than others (along the lines of female vanity, which is not typical of every single female) on their appearance but aren't snobs. I think monkts word hit it for me: dandy, the bad thing about dandies (at least in my book) is their snobbish character more than their attention to details in their appearance. I don't think we should presume that these two characteristics always go hand in hand. They might just be "artistic."

In my capacity as reluctant middle manager in an industry dominated, on the busniess side, by "professionals" more than eager to lap up the latest consultant-proffered pap, I occasionally find myself in meetings where these terms are bandied about in loathsome fashion. A couple of weeks ago, my boss was going over some idea and mentioned that it arose out of a "six sigma" discussion group. Everyone around the table nodded their heads sagely: "Ah, Six Sigma." I was like, "What the fuck are they talking about?!?!" I still, happily, have no idea. Always amazes me that there are actually people who read trade publications that deal with these consultancy flavors of the month.

"Grow" as a transitive verb applied to anything other than crops, as in "grow your business" or "the company needs to grow sales in that space."
Which reminds me... "space" to mean "market."
"Price point" to mean "price."
What's retch-worthy about "infantile"? Is there a particular use that makes people sick?
EDIT: Brian, you mean you're unaware that Six Sigma is a rigorous and disciplined methodology that uses data and statistical analysis to measure and improve a company's operational performance by identifying and eliminating "defects" in manufacturing and service-related processes? Commonly defined as 3.4 defects per million opportunities, Six Sigma can be defined and understood at three distinct levels: metric, methodology and philosophy. Thank you, Mr. Google. Pardon me while I retch.

Six sigma!!! Oh god I almost coughed up a lung on that one. I can't tell you how many seminars I've had to attend on TQM (don't ask) and other scammy ripoff blowhard fuzzy nonsensical project management "tools" which in the end were a complete and utter waste of time and money.
Six sigma indeed.
Larry - I've gathered you're a man of style from other posts. I refuse to regard you as a "metrosexual".
Dandy douchebag ok?
Thinking there's always exceptions to make for "special" people,

We're agreed "infantile" is okey dokey. I find the term "infant" sickening because I hate kids.
