Cleethorpes Jazz Festival

Hi there. I hope this post doesn't break the rules of your forum, but my friend has been organising the 2004 Cleethorpes Jazz Festival and I'd like to tell as many people as possible about it so she gets a good turnout!
The festival is being held in Cleethorpes itself on 10/11/12 September. This year she's secured some really good acts, including Jacqui Dankworth and Dennis Rollins, and there's a real mixture of styles.
More information about the festival, including maps, ticket information, and full listings of all the gigs and artists, are available on the website at www.cleethorpesjazz.co.uk.
Thankyou.

I'm told that they hope to have Dennis Rollins running some jazz workshops at this year's festival.

It's a shame that Cleethorpes doesn't have the same "ring" as Antibes etc...! But good luck with the Festival I once lived in Swindon in the UK for a few years...THE HORROR, THE HORROR!!!!!!... so can't knock anywhere else after that experience...and C/thorpes had the All-nighters...

“Terrible Bad", Phil… ! But it was all in a previous life. Still, sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and think I’m in hell...or Swindon…and I start to scream, “Lord, why did you send me to this place ? And my wife hits me around the head with a National Steel (heavy strings) and I’m OK again …for a few days...P.S.T.. “Post Swindon Trauma”…no cure…

Have a great FESTIVAL.

Cleethorpes gone Funky....Cleethorpes got Soul
