Charles Tolliver, trumpeter/composer/arranger/producer and New School University Jazz faculty member leads the New School University Jazz Orchestra on Monday, April 21, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Tishman Auditorium, New School University, 66 West 12th Street, NYC. He will be joined by Jazz saxophonist Gary Bartz. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the New School Box Office, located in the lobby of 66 West 12th Street.

Charles Tolliver has performed with legendary Jazz artists Jackie
McLean, Sonny Rollins, McCoy Tyner, Horace Silver, Art Blakey, Max
Roach, among many others. He is the director of the New School
University Jazz Orchestra, an ensemble offered to students in the Jazz Program.
The next concert in the Jazz series, which features Jazz Program
Orchestra Repertory Ensembles, will be with The Sun Ra Orchestra,
conducted by Ahmed Abdullah, on Thursday, May 5, 2003 at 7:00 p.m.
