What do you play?
Was wondering what instrument everyone plays?

Shakespeare? Chess?
Clarinet for enough years to make me regret I stopped at one point. Silly me.
Have given up on guitar a few years ago. Too weird an instrument.

I play guitar, bass, and keyboards. The only acoustic basses I play are the modern guitar-type ones, not the big bass violin usually used in jazz, bluegrass, and classical.

I play guitar and am trying to get competent at piano.
I can actually do "Modal" solos on piano better then I can on guitar because I can actually see the notes in front of me; but when I start playing changes I get completely lost.
I can't comp worth a damn on either instrument though

I started on drums, but I've moved on to vibes and prefer to play that (though sometimes I'll put a little marimba in, too). My best instruments are drums and vibes-- I play piano pretty well for my lack of interest, but struggle a bit. I have a tenor sax which I'm not good at at all (need lessons or something), and I can scat pretty well if that means anything. I really am a drummer/vibes player though.
