Book: Howard Mandel's "Miles, Ornette, Cecil . . . "

Has anyone picked up a copy of "Miles, Ornette, Cecil: How Miles Davis, Ornette Coleman, and Cecil Taylor Revolutionized the World of Jazz"
by Howard Mandel?

I see it listed on Amazon, but before ordering it I would like to get a few opinions regarding the general themes and structure of the book.
