Edgefest/Ann Arbor

Does anyone have reliable info. on the line up of players for the 2004 Edgefest in Ann Arbor, MI. in mid-October?
I have come across a Reggie Workman/Sonny Fortune duet post on a non-Edgefest web site, and that's it.
Thank you
Jesse

I haven't seen or heard anything yet. The place to find official updates, in case you don't already know, is here. The site still has 2003 information, but it will be updated when there's more information about the 2004 festival.

Jesse, that set with Sonny Fortune is actually planned as a Sonny Fortune & Rashid Ali duo. I think that the schedule is pretty well set but still tentative. Dave Lynch mentioned that the lineup should be released soon. There was mention of another Trio X with Joe McPhee set. Also a quartet with James Emery, Marty Ehrlich, Drew Gress, and Kevin Norton. Some sets with Jenny Scheinmann (do I have that name right? I'm unfamiiar with her), some Quebecky bands, and more, I'm sure.

Thanks for the info, Frisco and Larry. As w/all things,it's a wait and see what shakes out; I simply wanted some clues, aside from the patterns revealed in past years' bookings. Mpls to Ann Arbor is a haul for me, so I need a compelling enough mix to do the deal. On the evidence so far, I'd stay home. (Yes to Ali, but of all pairings, Fortune?I saw Mcphee 25 years ago (!), and am not current w/his sound now. There are no electro-acoustic groups that would put me on the highway for 10 hours. Plenty of other humans would...thanks again for responding.
