Moondoc's Jus Grew cd's

I've run across some conflicting opinions of these 2 cd's, Moondoc's Spirit House & the new one at the Vision festival. Does anyone have any strong opinions on these two discs? Details? Also interested in any reviews of Bern Nix's playing on these. Is he given any room?

I was at the Spirit House concert. Great set. It too was at the Vision Festival. Back in the days when you looked at the schedule and almost drooled.

I haven't heard the Ayler, but 'Spirit House' is fuckin' fantastic. One of my favorites of that year. It's been a while since I heard it, so I can't get more specific.

I am not a devotee of the avant-garde, OK? "Spirit House" is an absolutely kick-ass recording. You'll never regret owning it. While you're at it, you'd better pick up "Revolt of the Negro Lawn Jockeys" which is also a fine expression of everything that is good about jazz.
