Where's Walto
I haven't seen Walto around for awile. I hope he's ok. It's probably nothing to worry about but he's almost always online late an night here (early morning east coast US). He hasn't posted since the 26th which is most unusual. Any of his buddies know that he's ok?
Probably silly of me but as I said it's unusual,
I hope he's on holiday somewhere nice.

He did say somewhere that he will be off for a week or so.

Cape Cod. He even said so in the designated thread:
Announce Time Off Here (#79)
It's quite easy to find that thread because it starts with an A. Just click "thread" at the top of the forum menu, and the threads in that forum (in this case, the Alley) will be sorted alphabetically.

Ok thanks Uli. Glad it was nothing to worry about, but I remember Walto getting quite ill with pnuemonia iirc last year and nobody seemd to know about it.
Please delete this thread Mone if you have a moment.
BN: I've never viewed that thread because not being from the US the place names of people's holiday destinations mean nothing to me. I had actually forgotten about the thread you so kindly pointed out. I probably need no help in navigating this board but will remember to check the above thread in future.

JBW--
The navigation tip was meant for anyone who can use it. Not everyone is aware that the threads can be sorted in various ways, and it can be very handy to do that.

Yes, I also thought that was a very altruistic service Bluenoter provided, like giving a person a cup of hot coffee by way of a throw to one's face.

Uli, it's easy! A is the first letter of the alphabet! Why are you so dense?

How do I remember them all? I don't. But that one is easy to remember.
Of course, one could also click on Walto's name in the Members list and then click to read his posts; his "going away" post would be the last or nearly the last.

Yeah, that's a cool way. Especially since he did take time out of his busy schedule to announce his time off. Or was he just trying to hook up a party? I don't remember.

"Let's have another cup of coffee / And let's have another piece of pie!"
Personally, I don't resent getting tips on locating information, but there's no accounting for taste.

Whoa! First you fling hot coffee in his face, then you follow that with a pie!
Reminds me of an old Uncle Milty skit.

I'm pleased to report that Walto and family are doing fine, having just returned a short while ago from a Cape Cod micro-hang at their vacation digs in Eastham.

Well, glad to know Walto's having time off instead of absent due to something unpleasant.
blawless, having looked for threads here and there myself and knowing it's something of a pain--I can appreciate Bluenoter's assistance to mean that you don't have to look for very long because it's in the A's. It's position as an A thread is helpful in itself.
