Ferdinand Richard is the promoter of a festival in Marseilles: Festival MIMI.
This year, it will happen from july 27th to august 1st.
With Silent Block (Xavier Charles, Frederic Le Junter, Jerome Jeanmart), Cowhause, Derek Bailey, Univers Zero, Otomo Yoshihide's new jazz ensemble...

I'd like to hear more of his music. Ferdinand et les Philosophes was very good (saw the band live; I hope a recording will appear sometime). When they entered the stage I thought what the hell are these gigolos doing here. They were fun to watch and to listen to. Thanks for your post, Oger.

The latest thing I saw was a CD with Fred Frith, "Dropera".
