Edit Icon

What am I NOT doing right? All my posts seem to go forward with the EDIT icon showing. I know this is probably a stupid question so thanks for your patience....

You are allowed to Edit your posts at any time, which is why the Edit Icon is always there...

Thanks for the reply mone.
Are you saying that I'm the only one who can see the edit icon on my postings? .....er......that would explain why nobody else has this showing on their postings when I'm reading them.

Warned you it was probably a stupid question.

Lastonein--

I can answer that one. Yes, each person can see the Edit button below his/her own posts only. That's because we each have the option to edit our own posts, but we don't have the option to edit other people's posts. I hope that helps.

Yeah, but we can quote somebody else's post and then edit the quote to make it say whatever we want! Hee, hee! We had some fun with that a while back.

It has to be done as an obvious joke, though.

Why, thank you, Stone! That's really generous of you.
