SF Bay Area: Sunday Jam At Edinburgh Castle

Come on out to the Edinburgh Castle (@ Geary & Larkin) for the first of many Sunday jazz jam sessions - the house band will include Brian Carmody (Drums), Dan Fabricant (Bass), and Kirk Hamilton (Sax) - bring your horns, guitars, or sticks - the session'll be going on all night! Come on by, have a beer, play some tunes, should be a great hang; downbeat is 9:30 and session goes 'till late.

Bam!

I'd say it's okey-dokey, and possibly even ivey-divey. Info...

Savanna Jazz Club: Formerly the Voodoo Lounge, Savanna stands out in its Outer Mission neighborhood. It's as if a North Beach jazz club dropped a spore on Valencia. Intimate and comfortable, with accents of fake plastic plants, Savanna presents live jazz nightly, along with dinner and drinks at a reasonable price.

Savannah Jazz Club, 2937 Mission, S.F. (415) 285-3369.

Thanks, bringing up a couple of So. Californians possibly in couple of months to jam, jam, jam.
However, am curious regarding statement "stands out in its Outer Mission neighborhood." What does that mean
