HELP, someone?

Not a trade, buy or sell offer, but it seems to fit quite well here.

I own a copy of Bill Bruford's If Summer Had Its Ghosts, an album I like with Ralph Towner and Eddie Gomez.

Unfortunately, one of my BELOVED cats made it fall and it's badly scratched right in the middle. Tracks 7 (Amethyst) and 8 (Splendour among shadows) are simply unplayable, the rest is OK, lucky me...
And I'd rather not re-order the CD for those 2 tracks only.

If someone's got this recording, would it be possible to copy the two tracks, encode them in mp3 and send them so that I can re-burn myself a complete copy of the album?

Hope Somebody else purchased this CD.

jaka, you might be able to repair the CD - they are made to be rebuffed occasionally (like hardwood floors, they're thicker than they need to be). You can buy a repair compound (my experience is that this doesn't work all that great, others may feel otherwise) or even get your cd buffed at some stores. Point being, your disk might yet be salvageable.

Thanks Tanager for the tip, but I tried that already.
It's true that some products work quite well for surface scratches, like when you drop a CD on a hard floor, but in this case, the cat did things with all his heart and it's really BADLY scratched (almost a hole).
