I hope kc bob's playful gestures with punctuation and randomness do not herald a boredom with actual communication. Because he is rather good at communicating.

Bob had lunch with me the other day. That could be the problem.

What really bugs me is the way computer technology has f**ked up the old rules regarding punctuation. For example, I was taught to put two spaces after a period. Nowadays, you're expected to only put one space. What about colons and semicolons? Do you only put one space after each now? And do you capitalize the first letter after a colon? You did back when I was learning sh**.

Cafe Spice. I had a chicken thali, Bob had a lamb thali. I forget the name of the chicken dish of the day in mine, Bob's was lamb curry. The thalis all come with a main course, a vegetable of the day (cauliflower), a bean of the day (lentils), rice, salad, raita & nan.

No more Catina Malbec for the bobster. Curious results when mixed with a petite syrah, as demonstrated above.
BTW, I still use two spaces after a period.
BTW#3, Pete took me to an Indian place in midtown a few days ago. Yummy it was. Also met up with him at the blues fest on a pier last Sunday.
BTW#2, I highly recommend the spinach/feta omelette at the Clark St. diner (2-3 train to B. Heights).
Green eggs, no ham. Sam i am.

Tippy's hip to computerese, and she's used a wildcard character to express her open-mindedness.

I will explain this to you. I used to work for a font company (Bitstream) so I know from whence I speak.
Traditional typewriter fonts (such as Courier) are monospaced; i.e., each character has the same width. A cap W is as wide as a lowercase i. This means that each space is also the same width, and with only one space between sentences, it's hard to tell where sentences begin and end.
Every space is the same. How terribly dull. How terribly, terribly, dull.
In the wonderful diverse world of true typography, fonts are proportionally spaced; i.e., a cap W is quite a bit wider than a lowercase i. Because of that, only a single space is required after sentences, just like it's been done in publications for centuries.
Typography is great fun. It's really, really, quite a lot of fun when you get the hang of it.

Larry, I was representing myself. You're more special, like a *naked* movie Star. It's hard to rep on the keyboard but you're something like $^#@75%+!#)*&(@$3&$.50!!! and that's just for starters.
