8:00 PM - Wadada Leo Smith's BLUE with Wadada Leo Smith, Tyondai Braxton and Ronald Shannon Jackson. Legendary trumpeter and composer Wadada Leo Smith makes a rare NYC appearance with his new electric ensemble featuring renowned drummer Ronald Shannon Jackson.
10:00 PM - Shane Endsley and KneeBody. The young trumpeter from both Ani DiFranco's and Steve Coleman's bands presents an exciting new electric band. Kaveh Rastegar - bass/effects, Adam Benjamin - rhodes/effects, Nate Wood - drums, Ben Wendel - Tenor sax, Shane Endsley - trumpet/effects.

10:00 PM - Urban Brass Quintet. William Owens, Josh Frank(tpt), Wei-Ping Chou(hrn), Brad Williams(tbn), Ben Green(bs tbn); works by Jan Bach, Norman Symonds, and Bruce Adolphe.
11:00 PM - Jon Nelson's Genkin Philharmonic with Mark Gould, Wayne duMaine, Sycil Mathai, Dan Grabois, Ben Herrington, Ray Stewart, Lazara Nelson, Nick Didkovsky, Dave Phillips, Greg Landis, Jeff Schiller, Brad Hubbard - perform music by Hendrix, Prokofiev, Pierson, Didkovsky, Harnas and Zappa.

The Festival of New Trumpet Music is proud to present Bill Dixon, organizer and producer of the October Revolution in Jazz in New York City in 1964, architect of the Jazz Composers' Guild (for the performance of contemporary American Black Music) in New York City in 1964, and founder of the
Black Music Division of Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont in 1973.
