THE BALLARD JAZZ FESTIVAL
Preparations are being made for an exciting and expanded 2nd annual Ballard Jazz Festival. Running from November 17-20, this year's festival will
feature concerts by the Matt Wilson Quartet, Don Sickler with New Stories in a tribute to bebop composer/pianist Elmo Hope, Tim Ries and the Stones Project featuring Ben Monder, and Andrew D'Angelo's Norsk Trio. Besides the clinics, concerts, jazz walk, and photography exhibits from last year, we will also present a two night "Brotherhood of the Drum" event at the Tractor Tavern with the bands of Matt Cameron, Michael Shrieve, Matt Jorgensen, Gregg Keplinger and John Bishop.
