First (Annual?) Festival of New Trumpet Music

Dave Douglas and Roy Campbell are organizing the First (Annual?) Festival of New Trumpet Music, running through the month of August (starting August 1 with a multi-trumpet conduction by Butch Morris) at Tonic in New York, Wednesdays through Saturdays, 2 sets a night at 8 pm and 10 pm. Trumpeters set to play:

Bill Dixon, Joe McPhee, Roy Campbell, Dennis González, Dave Douglas, Cuong Vu, Wadada Leo Smith, Raphe Malik, Graham Haynes, Herb Robertson, Axel Doerner (tentative), and others.
