Folks, don't enter your real last name. The site has some junky "get paid for reading spam" banners, and I think it's trying to collect real names and come up with e-mail addresses to be spammed. For that matter, you needn't enter your real first name; the prison names generated appear to be completely random.

But have fun!

Rita, it's utterly harmless - the generation is all done by client-side javascript with (from my cursory look at the source) no data collection whatsoever. The names are not random, actually.

My inbox is being inundated with emails that have a subject with my real name and a dirty limerick using my prison bitch name in the text of the message.

Kidding!

Spreading panic,
Larry
