CASTING CALL FOR JAZZ MUSCIANS -- $500

CASTING DATE: Wednesday, September 15th (THIS WEDNESDAY)
WHERE: The Blackwell Files
3178 17th Street, Studio 3 (between S. Van Ness & Shotwell )
San Francisco (Mission District)
TIME: Any time between the hours of 10:30am and 3:00pm
The casting will only take 5 to 10 minutes of your time
WHAT TO EXPECT: You will need to fill out a casting sheet and we will take about 8 photographs of you. The casting takes about 5 to 10 minutes. There will not be a long wait for the casting.
WHAT TO BRING/WEAR: If your jazz instrument is small enough to carry to the casting, please bring it with you. Please dress in attire you would wear during a performance and bring along any props that you normally bring to such events.
The Blackwell Files (a SF Real People Casting Agency) will be holding a casting this Wednesday, September 15th for a John Hopkins University print advertisement. The photos will be used in an advertisement as part of their fundraising efforts to support their cancer research programs.
We are seeking men (all ethnicities) ages 25 to -------__________ who are jazz musicians or play jazz instruments. If you are in a jazz band, bring the whole band with you (if possible). No photo shoot experience necessary.
If you are selected for the actual photo shoot you will need to be available for 1/2 day (4 to 5 hours in San Francisco) during the week of September 20th. The shoot will take place on one day only , during that week.
IMPORTANT: If you are interested in participating in the casting on Wednesday, please email us to set up an appointment – please send a photo of yourself and/or your band -- if possible.
If, after the casting, you are not selected for the shoot, we will keep your photo on file for other photo shoot opportunities. Our clients include: Apple Computer, Volkswagen, Nike and Ebay.
